“While I was still speaking and praying, and confessing my sin and the sin of my people Israel, and presenting my pupllication before the Lord my God in behalf of the holy mountain of my God, while I was still speaking in prayer and extremely exhausted, the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the earlier vision, came to me about the time of the evenin scrifice. He instructed me and he talked with me and said, “O Daniel, I have now come to give you insight and wisdom and understanding. At the beginning of your supplications, the command (to give you an answer) was issued, and I have come to tell you, for you are highly regarded and greatly beloved. Therefore consider the message and begin to understand the (meaning of the) vision.” Daniel 9:20-23 AMP.
Our answers are in His book! I’ve been looking over my voting ballot. The Oklahoma State questions are confusing. I watch the commercials. One local farmer says this another claims that. The political side step dances on. I suspect their are issues hiding behind each questions. I need discernment.
Daniel needed discernment also. He fell before God his Maker. God heard his cry and felt Daniel’s turmoil. While he was still in prayer God revealed hidden things to Daniel. God issued a command from His Holy Throne and sent His messenger to speak with Daniel. Gabriel was sent to bring understanding.
I need that.
God please give me wisdom and understanding as I go to the polls this Tuesday. You O Lord are in control of governments and elections, and because of that Your peace controls my anxiety. Thank you God.
